Ramadan Mubarak decor with Posca markers
Oh my, Ramadan is tomorrow?! Right? I haven’t heard anything yet if it really starts tomorrow 🙂 Anyway, here is a really fun Ramadan craft project for you! I used posca markers for this project, but I got the question if you can use other pens for this and I think chalk pens would work too. It has to be a pen that makes solid lines, regular paint pens or markers won’t work. I think their color will be a bit too transparent if. The free template is at the bottom of this post and I have added a separate document with the text “Ramadan Mubarak”. I asked on my Insta about different translations and mashallah I got so many I thought it would be better to make a separate pdf for them, so you can find Ramadan Mubarak in your language in the other pdf 🙂
And as you can see in my pics I have painted Ramadan Mubarak (in English) so that I can read it from the inside, but when I’m outside looking at my windows the text is backwards. So you can choose if you want people outside to be able to read it (like I did with the text in Arabic) or if you want to see the text correct from your home.
How to paint and decorate your windows for Ramadan:
1. Print the free template and the text Ramadan Mubarak in your language.
2. Open your window and tape the papers up where you want the lanterns, stars, moon or text to be. Then trace the lines with Posca markers, if you want you can color the whole lantern/star/moon or just paint the lines. I painted confetti and dots to make it more fun 🙂
3. Remove the paper from the window and there you go, a happy and fun Ramadan Mubarak window 😉
